Move Well, Live Well – CGV gym classes supporting wellness and connection
At Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT), wellness is about more than just staying fit – it’s about living with purpose, connection, and joy. That’s the heart behind our new Wellness Program at Cardinal Gilroy Village (CGV), now bringing residents together each week for fun, supportive gym classes in our state-of-the-art fitness space.
The program forms part of our Purposeful Living and Vitality Strategy, designed to empower residents to live well every day through meaningful routines, social opportunities, and activities that enhance independence and wellbeing.
Since the very first session, Yvonne, a resident at CGV, has attended several classes. She says the program is something she enjoys and helped her feel more connected to her community.
“The classes were good. Some were easy, beacuse I do lots of excerise. It's good fun and it's great to see others coming over"
"I'll be coming back" Yvonne shared.
